We are still under the number of rooms needed to fulfill our contract at the Hilton. It is crucial that anyone who has not yet booked at the Hilton please do so now.

Because our official room block deadline has passed, the regular reservation link or main reservation phone number for the hotel will not give you our contracted rate of $159, so please call or email our Hilton representative directly to book your room. Here is her information:

At this point the night of Saturday May 16 is sold out but all other dates of the SFS 2015 Annual Meeting are available. Please consider booking at the Hilton for all nights other than that Saturday night.

To thank you for your support, you will receive a free SFS water bottle at conference check in by showing your Hilton room key. One water bottle per SFS conference registrant staying at the Hilton, please.

On April 24 our room block will be released to the general public and the hotel is expected to sell out, due to a city-wide event adjacent to ours. It is crucial that you book your hotel room at the Hilton before April 24. Hotel reservations and the first night's deposit are cancellable and refundable up to 48 hours in advance of your arrival date.

Help keep our conference registration fees low by booking at the official conference hotel.
The Visit Milwaukee organization grants SFS a subsidy toward conference center space for every room booked at the Hilton.

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is the 2015 SFS conference headquarters and also student headquarters for SRC meetings and the location of the evening SFS Jam Sessions. Certain concessions have been granted to the SFS conference in conjunction with the commitment to the Hilton for the conference attendee's sleeping rooms. Please help us honor this commitment by booking within our contracted block at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Contracted concessions include: free in-room wifi, complimentary meeting space and complimentary meeting wifi, access to fitness center, subsidized meeting space at the Wisconsin Center, convenient access to the Wisconsin Center from the Hilton via skywalk. The hotel also offers in-room dining (room service), and houses two restaurants and a Starbucks outlet.

Student Rooms for age 18 and over have been arranged at the Straz Tower residence hall, part of Marquette University (four blocks from the Wisconsin Center). The cutoff for reservations is Friday, April 24.

All individual/direct reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number. Failure to check-in as scheduled without canceling the reservation at least 48 hours prior to the date of arrival will result in a penalty charge of one nights' stay billed to the credit card on file. Failure to check-out at the posted time on date of departure will also result in a penalty charge. Payment in full is due upon check-in. No refunds, including instances involving early departures and/or weekend absences, will be issued. Lost key charge is $75. Payment for charges incurred can be made with cash, check, or charge (MasterCard or Visa) at check-in. This special room rate will be available until April 24, 2015 or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first. For best selection, please reserve your room as soon as possible.
