manda kambikambi

Manda Kambikambi is an ichthyologist and a junior lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Zambia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Ecology and Wildlife Management from the University of Zambia and pursued postgraduate degrees in Ichthyology at Rhodes University in South Africa. Growing up in a developing country, Manda became aware of the delicate balance between human activities and natural environments. This sparked her interest in understanding how freshwater ecosystems function and how they can be conserved. Her research interests focus on food web ecology, particularly the influence of both natural and anthropogenic factors on trophic interactions and energy flow. She has conducted extensive research in fish ecology, exploring trophic dynamics using stable isotope analysis to better understand these ecological relationships.
